COURSE - Demystifying Mindfulness (Part 4: Turning Compassion Inward)

In Part 4, we explore how cultural conditioning, social pressure, and modern work environments often make it easier to extend compassion to others than to ourselves. We look at how the inner critic can become dominant - and why self-compassion can feel unfamiliar or difficult.

We unpack the deeper meaning of self-compassion, including its evolutionary roots and its relevance in today’s fast-paced, competitive, and digitally noisy world.

This session includes a guided self-compassion meditation designed to help you turn this supportive resource inward.

By the end of this session, you’ll have:

  • An understanding of the three core components of self-compassion

  • Insight into the cost of an unconscious lack of self-empathy

  • Experience practising a resilience-building, self-compassion meditation
